Burflex Scaffolding is pleased to announce that it has purchased the premises and existing stock of Modular Scaffolding’s Sheffield yard, with the branch of the company already open and fully staffed, helping to support the company’s existing workload in the local area.
The site was bought on July 13th this year, after previous owner Peter Clarkson decided to retire and his son Chris was keen to seek new ventures.
Modular Scaffolding itself was incorporated on February 29th 1980, operating out of its Sheffield base since June 2001. The site, ideally located in the traditional industrial heartland of Sheffield and just 1.5 miles from Junction 34 of the M1, extends 3,709 m/2, with a warehouse, workshop and two-storey office block included.
Now part of the Burflex operation, the branch is actively seeking new contracts in and around Sheffield, with the company keen to recruit reliable local labour.
Burflex itself has its head office in Hull, but also has contact offices in York, Sheffield and Leeds, allowing it to provide expert services quickly and effectively to customers across the north-west.
